Just finished Make Lemonade. I had never read anything by Virginia Wolfe, and this was a very different kind of writing with lines broken into phrases in a quite conversational manner. It's the story of a 14-year-old who babysits 2-year-old Jeremy and baby Jilly for a 17-year-old single mother named Jolly. But it's much more than that. It's the story of how support and encouragement may come from the most unlikely places. It was a short fun read, just right for a summer afternoon.
